Frog Calls at Heron Park
March 26 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Frogs
communicate by calling to each other. Some can make quite loud sounds.
Amphibians often hide very well, so the best way to identify the species
present is to listen to their specific calls. Join us and learn about amphibian
life, behavior, and how to distinguish species by their sounds. This event is
in the evening, because frogs are most active at night. Please bring bug
spray.
Number of
spaces available: No Limit! Please sign up for the event at
www.actforbays.org/coastkids, or by calling the Assateague Coastal Trust office
at 410-629-1538. Leave a message with your name, phone number, and number of
participating kids. The event is free for members and costs $3 per person for
nonmembers.
